We are a professional Denver, Colorado cover band offering a diverse and crowd-pleasing mix of acoustic, country, rock, Motown, and pop. We perform at corporate events, festivals, private parties and weddings throughout Denver and the surrounding Colorado area.
Frontman and founder of Mark Ham Band, Mark Henry Ham delivers powerful lead vocals and versatile musicianship across country, rock, acoustic, and pop. Whether driving a high-energy dance set or crafting an intimate acoustic moment, he combines rhythm guitar, harmonica, and keys to create a full, engaging live sound.
Dustin brings power, precision and a soulful feel behind the kit. He contributes with both lead and backing vocals. His drumming provides a solid driving foundation, and his energy adds an extra layer to the band’s live sound. With experience across Rock, Country, Funk and more. Dustin plays a key role in delivering tight and engaging performances.
Ronnie is a bassist and lead vocalist who brings both musical authority and expressive vocals to the band’s sound. As a rhythm-section anchor, he delivers solid, groove-focused bass lines that lock in tightly with the drums. As a front-of-house presence, his lead vocals add personality, range, and emotional depth, helping define the band’s overall style across rock, country, and pop influences.
Bret has been rocking the stages of New York City, San Francisco and Denver for the last 15 years. With a degree in Jazz, he brings a tasteful flavor of styles to his playing, reimagining the classics and modern music.
Nathan McMahon is a saxophonist/pianist with a deep passion for expressive, soulful playing. As a former United States Marine Band Saxophonist, he combines technical precision with the fluid artistry of jazz. He holds a degree in Saxophone Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he honed his craft across classical and contemporary styles. Whether delivering dynamic solos or smooth melodic phrasing, his sound reflects both tradition and innovation. Nathan's music captivates audiences, embodying the heart and spirit of jazz.
Bob is a lead guitarist known for expressive playing, strong tone, and a song-first approach. Drawing from blues, rock, country, and pop influences, he delivers melodic leads and dynamic textures that enhance the band’s sound. In addition to his guitar work, Bob contributes backing and harmony vocals, adding depth and balance to the group’s overall vocal blend.
Our country-focused performances often feature Colorado multi-instrumentalist Ernie Martinez (dobro, pedal steel, fiddle) when available. Ernie also performed on Mark Henry Ham’s album Casper. He has played on over 150 albums as a studio musician in both Colorado and Nashville, including those of Tom Paxton, John McEuen, Jimmy Ibbotsen and many more. He is in demand as an album producer, song-arranger, and co-writer. After many years as a finalist for the International Western Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year, he won in 2018! And was nominated again in 2019.
Brian is a versatile saxophonist who also performs on a MIDI wind controller, expanding the band’s sound with a wide range of instrument voices and textures. His saxophone playing adds energy, melody, and character, while the MIDI wind instrument allows him to layer and perform multiple sounds—from brass and strings.
Mark Ham Band performs a wide variety of crowd favorites across Rock, Country, Pop, Motown and more. We tailor every set to the audience and take requests when possible.
